Thomas Allen
  Emigrant - Thomas Allen, b. England. Went to Maryland, 1633 on the "Arc."

Killed by Indians near Port Tobacco, Charles Co., MD.

His 1648 will named three minor sons: Thomas, William and Robert.

1648 - Indians took Thomas and Robert in 1648 when they killed Thomas Sr.

1652 - The boys were sold back to citizens of MD.

He arrived in Maryland upon Lord Baltimore’s famous ship the "Ark and Dove". The passengers of the "Ark and Dove", just like those of the "Mayflower" or the "Welcome", hold a special place in American history. After leaving Cowes, Isle of Wight, November 22, 1633, passengers of Lord Baltimore's vessels landed in Maryland the following March 25.

25. Feb. 24, 1647[/8]. Margaret Brent sold a heifer from Lord Baltimore's stock to Thomas Allen, whose heifer had been impressed to feed the soldiers at St. Inigoes Fort. Archives 4: 374.

To 3 sons viz., Thomas, William and Robert, entire estate, real and personal equally. In event of death of any, survivor or survivors to inherit deceased portion.
Ex. Elder son Thomas afsd.
Overseers: John Hatch, Wm. Marshall, Richard Banks. At discretion of sd. overseers, James Bruse of Accomack to have son Robert and Philip Conner of Kent Island to have son William. Said sons to be brought up protestant
